Plans and billing
What the Free and Pro plans include, what happens at the Free limits, and how to change plan.
Popwell has two plans. Billing goes through Shopify and appears on your Shopify invoice.

During the Pro trial you have full Pro access.
Choose a plan
When you install Popwell, Shopify shows its plan page before the app opens. Choose Free or Pro and approve it. If you uninstall and install Popwell again, you choose a plan again.
Change plan
On Apps → Popwell → Campaigns, the plan card shows your current plan:
- On Free: Free plan, your usage, and Upgrade to Pro.
- On Pro: Pro plan (“Unlimited active campaigns and views.”), a Trial badge during the trial, and Manage plan.
Both buttons open Shopify’s plan page for Popwell, where you can switch between Free and Pro.
The Free plan limits
One active campaign
On Free you can have one active campaign at a time. Expired campaigns don’t count.
- Create campaign still works, but the new campaign is created paused, and Popwell shows “Free plan allows 1 active campaign. Pause another campaign or upgrade to Pro.”
- Start or turning on Campaign status is refused with the same message.
The storefront shows one campaign in total, so a popup and a bar can’t show together on Free.
3,000 views per month
Views are counted from the 1st of each month (UTC). See Analytics for what counts as a view. When the store reaches 3,000 views, no campaigns show until the next month begins. The Campaigns page shows your usage, for example “1/1 active campaigns · 2950/3000 views this month”.
After a downgrade
Popwell doesn’t pause anything when you move from Pro to Free. If more than one campaign is active, only one shows on each page: the highest-priority active campaign that fits that page. The plan card explains this. Pause the campaigns you don’t need, or upgrade again.
Uninstalling
Uninstalling Popwell deletes your campaigns and statistics. A reinstall starts with an empty campaign list. To keep a campaign’s settings, note them down before you uninstall.
