Campaign studio

Every popup and announcement bar in Popwell is a campaign. You create and edit campaigns in the studio, a full-screen editor with the settings on one side and a live preview on the other.

The Campaigns page

Apps → Popwell → Campaigns lists every campaign you’ve saved.

• Filters: All, Active, Inactive, Expired, Popup and Bar. The list opens on Active.
• Search campaigns… finds a campaign by name.
• Each row shows the status, the type (Popup or Bar), the priority, the trigger and pages, and the last 7 days of views, clicks, closes and copies.

Status	Meaning
Active	Turned on. It can show on the storefront when its targeting and schedule match.
Inactive	Paused. It never shows.
Expired	Its countdown end date has passed. See Countdown timers.
Scheduled (extra badge)	Its publish window starts in the future. See Scheduling and priority.

Start from a starter

Select Create campaign to open Choose a starter template:

1. Campaign Placement Format: Popup Modal or Announcement Bar.
2. Goal & Objective:
   • Popups: Discount & Offers or Copy Coupon.
   • Bars: Free shipping, Installments or Countdown bar.
3. For popups, Visual Layout & Image Structure: No Image, Left Banner, Split Card (image on the right) or Top Hero.
4. For Discount & Offers, Tone & Preset Theme: Welcome, Urgency, Exclusive or Sale Event. Urgency turns the image off.
5. Select Continue with template.

A starter only fills in the first version of the campaign. Every value can be changed in the editor afterwards. Starter text is written in your Shopify admin language. See Popups and Announcement bars for what each one sets.

The editor

The editor opens on a summary with:

• Campaign name: only you see it.
• Campaign status: the on/off switch for the storefront.
• Display priority: Preferred or Standard.
• A line with the priority, trigger and pages, and an Edit link that jumps to the trigger settings.

Below it are the setting groups:

Live preview

The preview updates as you type. Switch between Desktop and Mobile above the preview. The mobile preview uses a phone-width canvas, and the storefront switches to the mobile layout below 750px.

Save your changes

• Save campaign is available once you’ve changed something. The editor stays open after saving, and a Saved message appears.
• Discard changes closes the editor. If you have unsaved changes, Popwell asks before closing.
• The Campaign status switch is part of the campaign, so select Save campaign after turning it on or off.

Pause, start, duplicate and delete

From each row on the Campaigns page:

• Pause turns an active campaign off. Start turns it back on. On the Free plan, Start is refused while another campaign is active.
• Edit opens the editor.
• More actions → Duplicate creates a paused copy named “… copy” and opens it in the editor.
• More actions → Delete removes the campaign and its statistics. This can’t be undone.
