Homepage and sections
Build pages with Metonia's sections, from the slideshow to editorial layouts.
Every page is built from sections. In the theme editor select Add section to insert one, drag to reorder, and use the eye icon to hide a section without deleting it.
Slideshow
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Layout | Vertical snap scrolls through slides as the page scrolls. Fade changes slides in place. |
| Overlay | Darkens images so text stays readable. |
| Mobile behavior | For the vertical layout: Swipe or Fade on phones. |
| Show video controls on mobile | Off by default; phones show the mobile or desktop image instead of video. |
| Autoplay and Speed | Fade layout only. Autoplay pauses on hover and focus, respects the visitor’s reduced-motion setting, and shows a pause button. |
Each Slide has a Desktop image, optional Mobile image, optional Video, Eyebrow, Heading, Text, button label and link, and Alignment.

Images
Upload images at least 2000px wide for full-width sections. Sections with a Mobile image setting let you crop a separate image for phones so the focal point stays in view. Always fill in the image alt text in Content → Files so screen reader users know what the image shows.
